Highspot helps sales teams organize and find content to share with prospects and customers.
It makes it easy for sellers to quickly find the content they need by using tools like Spots, SmartPages, browsing, searching, featured content, and recommendations.
This article will detail the Highspot homepage to introduce you to the features and functionality to get you started.

Get Started in Highspot
When you sign in to Highspot, your company's Homepage displays. The page layout is organized into three sections:
Homepage
Only Company Admins can create and set homepages within your Highspot environment.
If you’re a Company Admin, see Configure Homepage Settings (Company Settings) to learn more.
Top navigation bar
You can use the top navigation bar to
- Search for content and people in Highspot
- Add files and links
- Create new Spots, training, SmartPages, and more
- Access your Highspot notifications, profile, settings, and apps
From left to right, the components of the top navigation bar are:

Left Navigation Pane
Use the left navigation pane to navigate to each of the Highspot features, including your most Recently visited pages, Favorites, and Support.
Some of the components have secondary menus that allow you to quickly navigate.
Collapse/Expand Pane
You can hover to expand the left navigation pane to view the labels of Highspot’s key components. Hover your mouse on and away from the plane to collapse and expand it.

Action Panes (Alpha)
Note – As this feature is in Alpha status, the Action Pane experience is subject to change and may differ from its current state in future releases.
To access Action Panes, please reach out to your Highspot Administrator to enable this feature for you.
Easily access your recently visited pages in the Action Pane experience with a single click! Hover over the left-hand navigation pane to instantly view your most recent content, spots, and teams without the need for multiple clicks.
Once enabled, the Action Panes feature will apply to all users in your Highspot environment.
Users with this feature enabled can turn off (or on) the experience by clicking their Profile at the top-right-hand corner, and then toggling the Enable action pane experience button.

Content |
The Content Center gives access to the Spot Directory where your Spots are categorized and easily accessed. The secondary menu lets you filter by Spots You Own, Spots You Edit, and more. |

People |
The People Center categorizes people in your organization as they relate to you. Not only can you see people who you follow or who are following you, but you can also see people organized into teams and groups. Use the secondary menu to filter by People, Teams, and Groups. |

Learning |
Through the Learning Center, you can see and access courses that you are enrolled in and view any course certificates. If you are an instructor or course manager, you are also able to manage courses and learning paths. NOTE – The Learning Center requires a Highspot Training and Coaching license. Contact your Highspot Services team member for more information. |

Engagement |
The Engagement Center displays all of your Digital Rooms and allows you to view, sort and filter, and gain insight into all the messages sent. This is also where you can view Meetings. |

Analytics |
The Analytics Center gives greater insight into all of your content. It provides reports on specific pieces of content that you can filter in a number of ways. Each time you change the filters, refresh the page with the Refresh button to view a new report. You can save reports with the Save As button or use the actions menu (...) to export a report to CSV. |

Favorites |
The Favorites Center provides quick access to spots and people. The star icon represents the Favorites center. To make a spot or a person a favorite, click the actions menu (...) at the top right of the screen and select Bookmark. |

Recents |
Recents provides quick access to Spots. The clock icon represents Recents. Recent Spots you’ve visited are displayed directly below it. |

Support |
At the bottom of the left navigation pane is the Highspot Support Center, which gives you access to the Help Center, Highspot Community, What’s New in Highspot, and Support. |
Main Pane
When you select one of the components in the left navigation pane, the main pane will update with the page and related information related to that feature.
For example, if you select the Learning tab within the left navigation pane, you'll land in the Learning Center.
